For Christmas, I got a pocket-size point-and-shoot Canon PowerShot SD 4500 IS Digital Elph to replace the ancient Sony Cybershot I've been carrying in my purse and on walks. I've been trying it out here and there, especially on macro shots like this alstroemeria bloom that is part of a huge arrangement I won at a work party. I still need lots of practice, but I think it's going to work quite well.
