Frosty Morning: Oct. 30
"When the frost is on the punkin and the fodder's in the shock..." To this day, I remember my mother reading this and other poems by Indiana-born James Whitcomb Riley to me when I was very young. Today, the words came to mind again as I looked out at the frost-covered trees and leaves. Fortified with 3 cups of Starbucks French Roast and still in my nightgown, I ventured to the back deck to capture this as today's photo of the day.
