Except for going to CVS to refill a couple of prescriptions, it's home sweet home for us today. So, I figured I'd get in some more practice with my new pocket-sized Christmas camera (a Canon PowerShot SD 4500 IS Elph). In particular, I wanted to try the macro mode, so I got up close and personal with blooms from the huge arrangement Jack won at the newspaper's Christmas party. Not bad for a first try - did have to remove some noise, but I think after some practice it'll be just fine.
