With the sun threatening to peek out a little for what may be the last time for several days, we drove to the Mill Creek MetroFarm Park to get some fall scenes. Then it was on a short distance to the White House Fruit Farm to restock fresh Jonathan apples, a strawberry-rhubarb pie, a bag of Hungarian hot peppers for me and a few other things. While there, we checked out the Pumpkin Pavilion, which is filled with pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn and other fall goodies like these.
