After a year or so of dealing with a move to a new (to us) house and a few health issues, we finally got on the road again for our first real vacation of the summer. Starting with a stop in historic Marietta, Ohio, we traveled to scenic West Virginia to spend three nights at the lodge at Hawk's Nest State Park. While we were there, we met up with friends Amanda, Carolyn and Bill, who showed us some wonderful sights - some we've visited before and others some we wouldn't have seen without their guidance. On the way home, we stopped for a couple of hours at Schoenbrunn Village just outside New Philadelphia, Ohio. It was a wonderful trip!
