This is a great place for outdoor gear and clothing. Both years we've traveled to Maine, we hit the "Septemberfest" sale. This time, it was on a Saturday, and the traffic was absolutely fierce! Still, it's a don't-miss place. For that matter, much of the downtown consists of outlet malls -- many stores we don't find in the outlet malls in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
