What a day! I came home from my weekly nursing home visit to find no cable TV, no Internet and no landline phone (freaky high winds). So, we ran some errands (even found a rug for the under-roof part of the deck and got an eye exam appointment for me despite the store's computers being down). Back home nearly 2 hours later, still no service. My cell phone was nearly dead, so on the charger it went. Oh well, said I - I'll just try to finish the book I'm reading on my Kindle. Silly me - guess what was also near death? Yep. So I put it on the charger, pulled up a chair and started reading. Within 15 minutes, everything came back on! Happily, it was such a gorgeous day that I got my photo for today at the home.
