Backside Beauty: May 10
Relatively profitable quick stop at Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park late this morning - even found a few early peonies. Alas, they were nearly destroyed by the recent cold and rain, but on the positive side, there are quite a few buds waiting for nice weather (plus the obligatory ants). Many azaleas in bloom plus a few irises and ornamental onion; the tulips, however, are all but gone. My pick for today is this backside of a gerbera daisy - one of several potted flowers on sale inside the visitor center.
