Yesterday we spotted a huge hawk in the trees giving our back yard the evil eye. So figuring we might entice it out, we tossed a few chunks of leftover pork chop out in the back yard. A few minutes later, I found out another critter beat the hawk to it! And no, it wasn't much interested in human interaction (sigh!) I felt bad because it looked like his or her paw is hurt.
