Maybe it's because I'm a country "girl" at heart -- I spent my pre-college days on a small farm in southwestern Ohio -- but I love barns and old buildings, especially if they're out in the wide open spaces. Lately, we've taken to driving around in rural parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania (more states to come) looking for these treasures. Some are abandoned, but an astonishing number are still in use. In any case, these are some of my favorite finds. Enjoy!
