After lunching with friends at a new restaurant in Boardman Township today, we drove home past the Austintown Log House in Austintown Township so I could take a few photos. The house, now on the National Register of Historic Places, was unearthed as St. Andrew's Episcopal Church was tearing down an abandoned house and discovered a two-story log cabin that was built prior to 1824. The cabin was then preserved for its historic value. This back window is today's photo of the day.
