Decent day today with almost all of the previous snow gone - I even got out for a walk in the morning. Late in the afternoon we went to friends Jerry and Barb's house for dinner; we left a bit early around a quarter to 8 because it was starting to snow. By the time we got to the outskirts of Niles (where they live), it was almost a white-out; this is how one of the evergreens at the edge of our garage looked when we got home (just a handful of miles away).
