The Hendricks Head Lighthouse in West Southport, Maine, is privately owned, so getting very close isn't possible. But the owners are making some improvements, including adding a bright red roof. The current lighthouse was built in 1875. The weather is overcast today so we're hoping for a bit of sunshine so we can go back.
