In 2010 and 2011, I decided to take at least one photo a day. The plan would serve two purposes: First, it would ensure that I'd get off my derriere and take pictures and, if necessary, force me to get creative to come up with something every single day for 365 days. Second - and I learned this as the end of 2010 was closing in - it would provide a wonderful record of what had happened throughout the year.
Last year, 2012, I chose another, less demanding option. Instead of a forced one-a-day, I'd just take occasional photos here and there (with the intent, of course, that I'd be posting something new almost every day). But alas, the road to you-know-where is paved with good intentions; all too soon, I'd fallen off the wagon and way too many days passed with nothing in the gallery to show for it.
So as I start another new year, I'm returning to my pledge to find something new to photograph every single day. Of course, you're invited to follow along!
