The Packard automobile got its start in Warren, Ohio. Today, the
National Packard Museum honors this heritage. Each year, a car show is held near the museum on the grounds of the Packard Music Hall. My husband and I spent some time here July 19, 2008, just tooling around looking at these beautiful historic vehicles, all spit-shined to a fare-thee-well.
All these photos, by the way, were taken with a Canon PowerShot A590 Elph camera. It's small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, so it's great for outings like this. At close to 90 degrees in the sun, I sure don't enjoy lugging a big, heavy camera around -- heck, I turn into a shrew when the temperature gets much past 75!
