In August 2009, we made another trip to Marietta, this time to meet up with our friend Amanda and celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. One morning, we drove to Hocking Hills State Park to spend some time at Old Man's Cave. It was so hot and humid that we had to cut our visit short; a serious lack of rain was evident in that there was no water running in the streams and waterfalls were virtually nonexistent.


Most of the three days we were in town were overcast and gloomy, but that just made us work harder to find interesting sights and scenes to photograph!
