Inniswood Metro Gardens, located in Westerville, Ohio, consists of 123 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, walkways and trails. There are more than 2,000 species of plants, trees and flowers, including a number of specialty gardens such as ferns, herbs and roses.
The gardens began as the 37-acre estate of sisters Grace and Mary Innis, who, according to park literature, loved gardening and wildlife. Their former home now is the site of education programs, a horticulture library and staff offices.
Just for the record, pets, picnicking and biking are not permitted on the grounds - but photographers are welcome!
