In late fall, we planted a flowering plum tree in the back yard in honor of our son Scott. It's in front of one of the most colorful fall trees in the woods behind the fence and close to the feeders where colorful birds eat us out of house and seed. So far, it seems to be doing well, and I'll be keeping tabs on it in hopes it will keep growing strong - just like our memories.
