I'm still under the spell of the coughing crud, so we aren't out and about much as yet. Did stop at the new house, where almost everything is completely torn up now (old carpets ripped out, kitchen cabinets moved to redo the floor and install new appliances, tub in the upstairs bathroom gone - it will be replaced by a giant shower. It's a mess, but it's actually quite an encouraging sight. All I could manage for today's photo is a shot of the fan in what will be my bedroom.

That evening, we enjoyed a delicious meal at Cafe 422 with friends Jerry and Barb and back to their house for wine (and kitty-petting) afterward.
