Come hell or high water, we insisted on going out for a bit no matter how lousy I felt. The weather is very cold and gloomy, but we wanted to see how the new decking around the Lily Pond at Mill Creek Park is progressing. Looks like it will be quite nice when it's done. We tooled around in the Visitor Center a bit - Christmas decorations are still up today including the beautiful holiday trees - but my photo pick is this one of metal grating on the ground at the edge of the Lily Pond.
