Some, but not all, of the appliances arrived as scheduled today (Home Depot somehow lost the dishwasher, but it's coming tomorrow). When I learned that the fridge is installed and working, I worried that it would be standing naked in the kitchen. So, we hustled over with magnets in hand and now it looks way more homey! Meanwhile, Lilla and Scott are working on the first coat of paint in the kitchen and sunny dining area - see photo at right - and (Lexi was on the third level painting the bathroom). The dining windows are the ones I'll be making valances for after finding out how much the blinkin' ruffles cost to buy ready-made. It's coming together SO fast!
