Today is a new beginning in a couple of important ways. It's the start of a new month, of course (where did the first two months of this year go)? It also marks the start of the rest of our lives without our son Scott, who left us way too soon. It's hard to get back to life as usual, since from this point on it won't be "usual." But I did go for a refreshing morning walk, where I got today's photo of the basketball hoop in the driveway of our new home.
