Those who know me know I absolutely love flowers and plants, but after years of living with parents who operated an evergreen nursery and a mom who loved tending her flower beds, I have little personal interest in gardening. So I was thrilled to see the two fairly large spirea bushes at the front of our house in bloom - not only are they pretty, they remind me of all the spirea my late mother loved in her various yards.
