Just Dandy: April 1
My dad got the biggest push in his poetry career with publication in Reader's Digest of this poem many, many years ago: Roses are red, Violets are blue; But they don't get around Like the dandelions do. I don't think that really had any impact on my love of dandelions, but love 'em I do and always look forward to seeing their sunny faces in the yard each spring. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see this guy up near the front of the house today!
