Tonight we went a couple of miles to the California Palms hotel outdoor patio to see local cover band G-Force (our son-in-law, Jerry, is the bassist). As we sat under a big burlap "beach" umbrella, I couldn't help but think of the old gospel song, "Up above my head, there's music in the air."
