Granddaughter Jackie and her fiance, Ryan Raketa, had planned a fairly large wedding in December. But the COVID-19 pandemic brought any kind of big get-togethers to a screeching halt - no guarantee the rules would be relaxed before the end of the year - so they've decided to get married at Ryan's parents' home on Aug. 21 with about 20 guests. It will be much more informal, so the dress I'd bought for the big wedding is way too fancy. Off I went to Amazon - can't go into stores - to find something inexpensive but cool (both literally and figuratively). It came today, and as I suspected, the white lace shawl with pink flowers matches the dress almost perfectly. Good to go!
