Good day so far: Out for a morning walk, got called over by our neighbor who gave us the tomato and pepper plants to ask how they were doing. When the answer to the tomato progress was, "not so hot," he pulled off two perfect ripe ones from his vines and handed them to me. Then he threw in a banana pepper for good measure. What a sweetie! Then, later on the walk, I ran into the first butterfly I've seen this season. Couldn't get very close with my phone, but it'll do for today. Later still, we learned that the restaurant that we really, really wanted to get takeout from for our anniversary is open - we didn't think it was - so we'll eat like a king and queen tomorrow night!
