Took yesterday off walking because I slept too late to beat the heat, but it wasn't too bad at 9:30 this morning so I headed out for a short one (doubt it was much more than 2 miles). Passed this stump as I often do, and this time took a photo. Can you imagine how big the tree was? Later, Jarrett and Ashleigh came over because we'd promised to take them to lunch (well, get take-out). We enjoyed their company very much, but it had to be one of the worst meals we've ever been served. Fries must have been cooked 3 days ago, my order was wrong, they "forgot" one sandwich and made the kids wait while they cooked it (in fairness, they didn't charge for it) and failed to include 3 extra sauces we'd asked for (for which we were willing to pay). Never again!
