Woke up this morning to see several of the front-yard day lilies in bloom (and a ton of buds in waiting). Not too long after that, a huge storm came through - with lots of rain (which we desperately needed), lightning and thunder. What we did NOT need is a tornado warning - which happily expired after less than an hour. The rain sure was heavy, though.
