Great food and great company (Lilla and Iain) at lunch today at Sunrise Inn in Warren - prime rib is $10.99 all day and delicious. After they left, I realized I had no photo for today, so I wandered out to the deck and then - on a whim - went on into the back yard to check on the flowering plum we planted last fall with Jerry's help in memory of our son Scott. A week or so ago it had leaf buds, so I was hopeful it had made it through the winter. And wow - much to my wandering eyes did appear dozens of pink buds and a couple of fully opened flowers!! This is the first of many photos to come, no doubt. I'm beyond thrilled.
