Not only were we greeted by sunshine and frost this morning, but we said hello again to a pair of mallards. First, they sauntered across the street (startling a pair of morning walkers) - and next thing you know, they were squatting in our back yard. They shy away from having their pictures taken, but I managed to get one of Mr. Mallard. Last year we were visited by a pair, so they may be the same ones. Who knows? They all look alike to me!
