Lipply Road: Sept. 6

When you live in Ohio, love taking photos and wake up to a beautiful day, you GO. Hoping to beat the predicted afternoon showers, we took off for Columbiana County because I've been wanting to see the new Town Center at Firestone Farms complex. We poked around there for a while - several professional buildings and a handful of retail shops are open (the place reminds me of a combination of Easton Town Center in Columbus and Savage Mill in Maryland; interior photo is near right). On the way home, we stopped along the scenic Lipply Road (home of the eagles' nest near the Firestone Training Center) and then through a bit of Mill Creek Park (the black-and-white photo at right is of the hiking trail bridge across from the golf course). Lunch at Davidson's Restaurant near Canfield to use another Entertainment Book coupon and then back home. And yes, we beat the rain!
