Remember that field of sunflowers in our neighborhood? Well, the sunflowers all withered, and on today's walk, I see the stalks have been cut down. I also knew there were pumpkin plants growing throughout the sunflowers (I could see an occasional flower). Now, there's a long row of actual pumpkins on the ground - and walking through the field to get a photo I found a lone leftover flower as well (at right). Cool!
