The leftover pumpkins from Halloween season in one of the fields in our neighborhood one day were gone, and I wondered if someone had gone in and picked them up. On today's walk, I learned that a little fun may have been involved: A handful of them have gone splat in a wooded area across from the field. And yes, it's above 40 degrees here today - perfect weather for a walk that the snow made long overdue!
