Somewhere in the mid-'70s, I went to (and thoroughly enjoyed) a lecture by feminist/equal rights activist Gloria Steinem. When she came here tonight, I got to go again. The occasion was even more memorable because it was a three-generation event: Me, daughter Chris and granddaughter Jackie. Our good friend Barb came along as well, making the evening even more special.
