Just for something to do on a gloomy day, we drove out to Lake Milton (Ohio) to see if the relatively new Halliday's Winery was open. Yes - and we did sample trays of the winery's 3 reds and 3 whites plus a bruschetta appetizer that was delicious. Jack's favorite was the Darak Sunrise (the sweetest of the 3 reds) and mine is the Carosello (a riesling that's also the sweetest of the 3 whites. We also learned about the Feb. 2 wild game dinner, and when we got back home we called our friends Jerry and Barb to see if they were interested - how fast can you say yes?
