This morning was about as gloomy as it could possibly be this time of year, and then it got worse as the rains came down. The yard, already soaked with at least 8 inches of melting snow, was more like a pond. Then suddenly, in early afternoon, the sun started to shine brightly as we came home from a trip to Eastwood Mall. These trees are next to our house.
