I'm one of those nuts who love dandelions. So day before yesterday, threatened with a lawn mowing that would erase them all, I ran out to the back yard and collected a bunch to put in a vase. Today, one of the most miserably wet and dismal days we've had in a while, they came in handy - they provided a perfect subject for my photo of the day (treated with the Spotlight filter).
