Mayfly: June 19

Mayflies, a staple "bug" of Lake Erie, usually live from 24 to 72 hours; they hatch along the Lake Erie shoreline (after living as nymphs for one or two years at the bottom of Lake Erie) by the thousand from mid-May through early July. They're a total pest, clinging to just about every surface including windows, boats, golf carts and pant legs, but they're totally harmless.
