Testing 1: July 25

Normally, I reserve my Canon Digital Rebel XTi for macro shots, keeping my Canon EF 100 f/2.8 macro lens on it and at the ready. One sunny day on our West Virginia trip, however, I decided to try the Canon 28-80 lens and added my Moose warming circular polarizer filter (which I won in a photo contest long ago, BTW). The photos turned out great, so just for the heck of it, I did the same thing today when we drove through Mill Creek Park. I wanted to test the versatility of the lens on different things - and the 3 photos I picked show the results. These are coneflowers from the parking lot of the visitor center.
