Haven't been in the Eastwood Mall area much lately, so when after we ran in the JCPenney and Gander Mountain stores, I got a couple of photos for today to show updates on construction. The $14 million Residence Inn by Marriott is coming along and, last I heard, is on target to open in the first quarter of 2014 (see next photo). Of more interest to me is this new Texas Roadhouse restaurant, which is hiring and almost ready to open. It's our favorite place to stop in Winchester, Va., on our way to the Outer Banks. Yee Haw!
