Long story short, but Jack and I stopped at the StoneYard Grill in Niles for a St. Pat's Day beer before heading on to another restaurant for lunch with friends. Several menu specials sounded great, but we moved on to get a table at the other place. But alas, nothing on the menu there even smelled Irish, so we called them and decided to go back to the StoneYard. Great decision - the shepherd's pie is absolutely wonderful (and my photo for today). For the record, I checked, and shepherd's pie seems to be native to both England and Ireland. All I know is it's delicious!
