Today's sunshine is welcome, but deceitful; the blustery wind was almost bone-chilling on my walk. Still, it felt good to be out. The car was warmer as we headed out for some fun and errands - to North Jackson and the Wizard of Odds (the fun), a quick stop at Rite-Aid (the errand). Planned to use a gift card at Ruby Tuesday, which had several cars in the lot but wasn't what we'd call packed. At the door, however, we saw at least six groups in the waiting area but at least one whole section unlit and empty - say what? Short on staff, apparently, so it was a no-go for us. Got luckier at Quaker Steak & Lube, but even there we ate at the bar because it was a 15-minute wait for a table despite a ton of empty seats in both sections. Oh well - got my photo for today!
