Our Derby "party" doesn't start till around 5, so when I saw a break in the drizzle out I went just to get some exercise beyond chopping onions and peppers. Since one of our neighbors reportedly is at the Derby today, I figured she wouldn't mind if I sneaked into her yard to take a few photos of her pretty tulips (actually, I have her blanket permission). They're starting to fade, but I may wander back with my camera (this is by phone) to get some better shots. On the way out the door, I captured the tiny wild violets under our living room window (right).
