What a miserable day! We did our "thing" by stopping for a snack and beer at a local pub at a time when almost no one was there - our way of getting out of the house for a while with a greatly reduced chance of contagion. Thank goodness it was cool in there, but we were still happy to get back home. Yesterday, I noticed a couple of big blooms on our measly hosta plants - so today, I braved the nearly 95-degree heat to get a couple of photos (here and at right).
