Took my time tinkering around this morning - including making a CrockPot of beef-noodle soup - thinking it was going to rain most of the day as predicted. When the sun started to come out, I checked the radar - and not a sign of rain for many, many miles so off I went. I took a slightly different route, and my reward was this lone leftover peony.
