What a day this has been! drizzle, rain deluges, sunshine and even tornado warnings - none lasting more than 10 minutes or so. When the sun comes out, the cicadas start their incessant chirping, and the ground is so wet I didn't even want to try walking on the grass to get my photo for today. Finally, I just caved and took a shot from above while standing on the waterlogged deck. At least the hydrangeas and lilies don't seem to be suffering much, but I don't know how much more water they can withstand.
