We've had a huge ficus plant almost from the time we moved to Karen Drive, and it's proved to be extremely hardy. From spring to late fall, it gets a choice spot on our deck. This summer, raccoons managed to knock the hefty planter off the stand, cracking the large plastic pot and, no doubt, irritating the plant. This is one of the large leaves that have fallen off since the accident.
