Another gorgeous day once the rain and gloom cleared up - last time I looked the thermometer was a wonderful 57 degrees. Buckeyes don't play today, so we trekked to Eastwood Mall to poke our noses into a few stores - something we rarely do anymore (but I'd just collected two bags of summer clothes I've had for at least 25 years and bagged them up, so end-of-season sales might have turned up a few replacements - or so I'd hoped. Nada). Did find some low-cut gray boots for when I have to wear socks - maybe February - and we stopped at Georgio's for lunch. Tried the hot peppers in oil, which were delicious but not even close to hot, and the broiled haddock Mediterranean with stuffed pepper soup and rosoto. Excellent!
