I admit to being a gadget freak. As you might suspect, then, I've been in hog heaven with all the FB "ads" touting the "20 niftiest tools you didn't know you needed but can buy at Amazon" that have popped up pre-Christmas. Actually, I've been a pretty good girl; only two {so far} have tickled my fancy enough to make it to check-out. One is an adjustable strainer that straddles my sink - perfect for peeling potatoes without putting the skins down the disposal (which freaks me out). The blue gizmo is billed as a tuna-fish can drainer, but it's got a double whammy: Turn it the way it is and push it down in the tuna can and all the oil, or water, drains without a mess on my fingers or too much left in the tuna. Turn it the other way to drain cans of fruits or veggies, etc. Used 'em both to make tonight's dinner. Woo hoo!
